Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born August 20, 1974 Aviano Italy American actor. She is renowned for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive individuals. Adams was one of seven children who lived as a young child in Colorado's Castle Rock. She was born while her father was employed by the U.S. Military in Italy. Then, in the latter part of 1990s, she began performing professionally and dancing in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she was employed at a regional theater where her role in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a comedy documentary that focused on beauty pages. Then, in Los Angeles, she pursued acting after her debut film in which she portrayed an uneasy but fun contestant. The couple also had children Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh began her filming career following the signing of an MGM deal in the middle of 1940s. She was discovered by actress and model Norma shearer. In the 1960s, Leigh appeared in popular films such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as well as Living It Up.
