Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in all the fights. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd took her fight against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a professional. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to beat McGill. She won her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina with her ground and pound tactics and earned the TKO 2nd round win. She repeated her dominance and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent match against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the first round. She also received the bonus for performance of evening. Her first major fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
