Canadian screen actor, best recognized for her performance on Lost Girl as Bo Dennis. She began her role in 2019 on CBSs Blood & Treasure. Other credits include Earthstorm from 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she was a part of in 2005. Silk was born Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, her father being Peter Silk who is an academic. Silk's wife Ilkay is a performer also a director and producer as well as playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Annas earliest memories revolve around going to play rehearsals and watching her mom perform. Silk made appearances in numerous commercials while a young child. She graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was responsible for two performances in the early days of theatre. The two were Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1998). Samuel as well as Levi Cooperman are the names of their two sons. In 2009, she was cast in the principal role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren as love-making, same-sex couples on Lost Girl was named one of the show's Favorite TV Couples by CNN and declared The Top Television Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous number of followers on social networks because of the show's popularity.
